A conversation with Marco Sammicheli

1

The most important thing you found out or learnt at the Salone
_

Every year at the Salone I discover the tangible wonder of the workforce. With this word I mean all of the thousands of people, from artisans to hostesses, from business managers to students, from stand operators to designers, who enliven and feed the extraordinary design creative industry.

What did the experience of Design City leave you?
_

Design City was an experience complementary to the design week held in April. It was an opportunity for knowledge, sharing and dialogue and I am sure it will get even stronger opening itself to international experiences and collaborations with other existing Milanese and Italian design institutions such as schools, companies and professional studios.

The unmissable at the 2017 Design Week
_

I’d like to highlight the projects I’m involved in as curator: the solo exhibit by Adam Nathaniel Furman at the Camp Design Gallery; the exhibition 1+1+1 with Bijoy Jain, Eun Mo Chung and George Sowden at Assab One.
