Gianni Arnaudo - Urban organization as an antidote to the virus
Interview with Gianni Arnaudo, designer
The Copenhagen organization is an exemplary model of fragmentation in poles based on neighborhood relationships and services, with higher quality of life, easily connected to the city through a dense transport network. A model to be studied as an antidote to the spread of the virus. The experience of lockdown has shown the need of areas to expand the small size of the houses: balconies, terraces, green areas are important for improving the livability of residential spaces. The experience of the Lacaton & Vassal studio is a reference in this field.
