Sikkens presents the Color of the Year 2021 and the new color trends for architecture, defined by the Global Aesthetic Centre in AkzoNobel.

With over 18 years of experience, COLOUR FUTURES™️ is the result of the commitment of an international team of color experts from the worlds of design, architecture and fashion. Through the analysis of socio-economic trends and the resulting global color needs, it provides a useful inspiration tool for custom interior design for all designers and color enthusiasts working in the fields of interior design, product design, fashion, art and architecture.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Art The Hague, she has worked as interior designer and editor on various magazines for over 20 years, has also taught at the Artemis Design Academy in Amsterdam and published over ten books on interior and color design. In 2009 he joined AkzoNobel's Global Aesthetic Centre and is now responsible for the creative team that develops collections and color tools for the 80 countries in which AkzoNobel operates.
