Since 2003, has been the reference platform of Fuorisalone, the event that together with the Salone del Mobile defines the Milan Design Week. Recognized and promoted by institutions and professionals as the official communication channel, over the years it has been chosen by companies and designers for the promotion of brands, projects and events. An essential tool for orientation, understanding and getting to know the event, it offers different communication formats and a dedicated consulting service.

Fuorisalone 2020: a very special year, two editions.

The Salone del Mobile.Milano cancelled its 2020 edition but the Design Week goes on thanks to On June 15th the new Fuorisalone Digital platform has been launched, featuring the introduction of two new tools (Fuorisalone Tv and Fuorisalone Meets) and the possibility of exploring two new channels (Fuorisalone Japan and Fuorisalone China) for the distribution of content.

Now, the Fuorisalone Digital platform consists of: the Web Portal, a guide and reference tool for the whole project Fuorisalone; the Magazine, a container for in-depth information on the world of design at 360°; the Social Media and Newsletter, in addition to the new Fuorisalone TV and Fuorisalone Meets and channels dedicated to the Chinese and Japanese markets.

The second step on the territory of the Milano Design Week.

The digital project continues and is renewed with a second appointment, the autumn edition of Fuorisalone from 28 September to 10 October 2020, which will see a new calendar made of local events in the city and talks dedicated to the world of design and project culture, all within the frame of the format proposed by the City of Milan under the name Milano Design City. Milano Design City is the evolution of the Fall Design Week activated in autumn in the last four years by the City of Milan - which has seen Studiolabo as protagonist with the Brera Design Days festival - in order to investigate and explore issues related to the culture and the various forms of design, which fully share in contents and tools with the new Fuorisalone Digital platform.

The role of and communication and promotion possibilities for brands for the 2020 edition rethinks the structure of the website that remains the reference point and the center of all communication for companies that would have organized an event during Milano Design Week.

It does so by replacing the logic of the physical event with that of the digital event, which does not virtualize the physical experience (impossible to do) but proposes a solution that combines and distributes digital content on multiple channels thanks to dedicated tools that increase and improve the experience of the audience, in a coordinated and logical way to the Fuorisalone brand.
