After Land, Masquespacio comes back to Milan for the interior design of Bun, high quality hamburger restaurant.
After the successful site-specific Land installation at Design Week 2019 in collaboration with Poggi Ugo (selected among others to represent Fuorisalone 2019 at the OSAKAxMILANO Design Link event organised by Fuorisalone.it with Daimaru Osaka), the Valencian duo Masquespacio return to the forefront in Milan with their first interior project. Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse designed the interior of Bun, restaurant specialised in hamburgers located in Viale Bligny, in the area of the renowned Bocconi University.

The objective of the project was to create an identity strongly focused on the younger generation but with a sophisticated, high quality approach. In fact, unlike the main hamburger restaurants, which are now very popular and often characterised by a mainly vintage and industrial look, the Masquespacio duo opted for a more refined, fresh and innovative image: touches of gold and terrazzo tiles are mixed with splashes of colour and geometries that enhance the existing arches in the space.

Wooden countertops and elegant vegetation reflect Bun's genuine, plastic-free identity. A successful collaboration between the restaurant chain and Masquespacio: the duo is already working on new projects for Bun, in particular for the next opening in Turin.
